Take your time.

Slow down. Enjoy the precious moment. Breathe. Be here and now — no need to rush.

Where are you running? The past is gone. The future indeed will show itself.

Can we hurry our future? I don’t think so. Instead, sink in. Expand each moment. Perceive what is happening right here, right now.

When people were asked on their deathbeds what they regretted in life, they answered, according to Bronnie Ware,

  • to have worked so hard,

  • not to have expressed their true feelings,

  • not to have stayed in touch with their friends,

  • not to let themselves be happier and

  • to have lived a life true to themselves and not the life others expected of them.

Isn’t that worth moments of stillness? Of recalibration? Take your time. Slow down. We only live once — in this lifetime.

Allow yourself to enjoy the sunrise of your life.
